A clean, level supporting surface and the correct Slip-Grip pads help your GlassMat remain stable in everyday use.
Inspect the GlassMat and packaging before moving or installing it. If you find damage, stop and follow the delivery-damage steps below.
Remove dust and debris. Confirm that the floor is clean, dry, level, and able to support the complete glass panel.
Use the floor-specific pads included with your order. Place them beneath the glass as directed, not on the rolling surface.
Use two adults for larger GlassMats. Lower the panel evenly and keep fingers, feet, and hard objects clear of the edges.
Make sure the complete panel is stable before placing the chair on it. Recheck pad position after the first few days of use.
Use the low-profile hard-floor Slip-Grip pads included for your order. Clean away grit before installation and periodically check beneath the glass to help prevent trapped debris.
Use the carpet pad configuration supplied with your order. Confirm the carpet and subfloor provide flat, continuous support and that the GlassMat does not rock after installation.
Confirm suitability before installation. Softer carpet and padding can affect support, so contact us if the panel rocks, shifts, or does not sit evenly.

Do not use abrasive pads, powders, metal scrapers, or harsh tools that can damage the finish or surrounding flooring.
Periodically check that the Slip-Grip pads remain clean and correctly positioned. Contact us when replacements are needed.
Remove the chair and accessories first. Use two adults for larger panels and keep the glass upright only when properly supported.
